I met Everend through a contractor coaching program we were both part of, and it was clear right away that he knows his craft. He’s direct, thoughtful, and never afraid to share what he really thinks. When you talk to him, you can tell he’s coming from real experience, not just opinions.

Over time, I’ve seen how much he cares about the people he works with— his clients & team. He handles challenges head-on and always follows through on what he says.

Everend brings a level of professionalism and steadiness that’s rare in this industry. He’s the kind of builder you can count on, dependable, fair, and genuinely invested in doing right by everyone involved. I would absolutely recommend ET’s Home Renovation.

ET built a steel frame for shade sails in my backyard, and it completely transformed the space. I’ve loved having a cooler, more inviting place to garden and enjoy nature. When I noticed the fascia needed reinforcement recently, they came right out and took care of it. Great service, great people, attention to detail (caulking, cleanup, etc) — I highly recommend them.

I've had the pleasure of meeting Everend Thorne through JobTread — a software platform we both use to run our remodeling businesses. Through this community of 7,500+ builders, we've connected and developed a professional relationship over the last year through a roundtable group.

Our group meets regularly twice a month via Zoom — and we talk mostly about business, but also about life, overall health, the ups and downs of running your own company, raising a family, our relationship with the Lord — just being real with one another. That’s really what we aim for.

Everend is an easy person to like and trust because he’s incredibly authentic — which makes him a great asset to our group.

What I appreciate most about Everend is that he lets you know what he’s thinking through the questions he asks. And if he feels strongly about something, he’ll just tell you straight up: “This is what you need to do.” Through many examples in numerous conversations, I’ve learned first hand how he solves issues and fights for his customers, his employees, and his subcontractors.

Remodeling is a hard tough business model. We all know this truth- Which is why it is real important - if you're a customer looking for a builder for your next remodel, you definitely want to being working with professionals who lead with integrity and hold themselves and their teams to high standards. That’s been my experience with ET Remodeling.

I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Everend Thorne over the past two years through various industry and leadership groups, and I’ve been continually impressed by both his personal and professional growth.

What stands out most about Everend is his determination to perfect his craft and his commitment to running a company that reflects integrity, stewardship, and excellence. I’ve watched him grow ET’s Home Renovation from a small home repair operation into a full-service renovation company that serves homeowners and investors throughout the South Austin area.

ET’s Home Renovation isn’t just another contractor—it’s a company built on strong values, craftsmanship, and a genuine respect for clients, their homes, and the environment. Everend and his team live out their mission of providing “craftsman quality renovation services with a high level of respect leading to 100% satisfaction.”

Even though I work in the Atlanta market, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Everend and his team to anyone in Austin who is seeking a trustworthy, skilled, and values-driven contractor. If you’re looking for a renovation experience marked by professionalism, quality, and care, ET’s Home Renovation is an excellent choice.

ET's Home Repair has been there when I needed them! They are fast in responding, efficient, honest, reasonably priced, and best of all, they do excellent work. Their process is great; Everend (the owner) sends videos outlining all the work to be done, along with a written proposal, so I always have a full understanding of the project and scope of work. I've used them for a couple of recent projects, including replacing the railings of my front porch with something more eye-appealing and sturdy, and also some cabinet work in my kitchen. I plan on using them again in the near future!

All around amazing customer service! I wanted to write a review before the job was even complete.. but I held off. We had the pleasure of these guys coming and helping with some shower/drywall issues. Incredible craftsmanship all around and ETs will be the only company we call for our future needs!
